My abs are still barely visible, and my chest is not very big. It's really hard to get chiseled abs and a big chest.

Muay thai will get you abs real quick. I havent had abs like this since i was 15 over 25 years ago

You need to work the antagonist muscle too. The goal should be balanced gains.
Instead of just chest and abbs, you need to work back too.

I do, along with legs and arms. I'm on a program. However, abs and chest seem to be lagging.

Understandable, health first. Same like you, I want to do classes, but covid prevents me. I've thought about watching YouTube videos, but I feel like it's not the same.

Unless you have great genetics, abs are like the hardest thing to get showing because it is all dependent on bodyfat %

I was doing 40 minutes of cardio, 45 minutes lifting, and eating 1600 calories/day to get to 9% bodyfat, and my abs still weren't showing like you see on instagram.

You'd need to train them like you would any other muscle. This can be done through compound lifts or isolation exercises.

Nah, for visible abs you need to be around 8-9% body fat. If you're not dieting right, you're going to have a hard time getting your body fat that low, even with exercise.
