So one of the things they say is it isn't an exact port but they call it an "adaptation" because of all the stuff they had to change. They had to change menus and the UI around because there is a lot of menu bloat in this game and it needs to be better optimized for console controllers. I'm sure it will be real close to the PC game.

EIther way, I'm excited. I was never into any of these types of games and even own a few like one of the Hearts of Iron, 2 of the Civ games, and a handful of others but it was just too much for me to learn. I didn't feel like it. CK3 though had me addicted.

It was released on Gamepass PC on launch so I played it there. I went through a couple videos explaining the menus and basics and how to play and they helped a ton. This game is a lot of fun, and it's cool rewriting history. William the Conqueror took over England? Not quite. He bailed on that conquest and instead decided to take over France.

I haven't gotten CK3 quite yet. Want to wait for some major expansions to hit, since end-of-life CK2 was such a content-rich experience. And I'm addicted to EU4 and Stellaris has finally rounded out into something good and fun. And I'm getting Vicky 3 at launch.
Glad CK3 is excelling though. CK2 basically marked an inflection point where Paradox started maturing as a developer and started really trying to improve the UI and put information in accessible places. Plus CK is probably the best one for doing crazy alt-history.

Good, more people can and should play it.

More importantly, Royal Court finally releases in a couple weeks!
