One time like 13 years ago, I drove from Chicago to Milwaukee in a horrible blizzard. The roads were horrible, and I was going like 30mph the entire way (there werent many cars on the road, but very few were passing).

At one point, that very thing happened to me. A plow from the opposite side just launched an absolute wall of snow/ice/slush across the barriers and right onto my windshield, burying me in snow. I immediately when for the wipers, and my vision was clear within a few seconds, but I was absolutely terrified for those few seconds.
