I personally like Playstation because of the controller and exclusives. Also the UI is more friendly.

I will probably get a series S around black Friday though and wait for a PS5 slim. I like small consoles because I move them from room to room and also I take mine over to a friend's house a lot

Xbox for the controller.

PlayStation due to exclusives. But I will likely get a Xbox for exclusives in a year or two due to studios like Obsidian, Bethesda, Arkane and Blizzard.

PlayStation has had better exclusives since the PS4. It will be interesting to see what Xbox's exclusives look like in a few years though.

it waxes and wanes. generally ps hardware has a better track record in my house.

multiple dead og xboxs and 360s. xb1s bricked after update. Sony I've only had issues with ps2 op drive.

that's the kind of stuff that pulls me to each side. ideally I have all consoles cause I like all the games...

Xbox for controller, general UI, Game Pass, cross save and cross buy with PC versions, backwards compatiblity.

I've never even played any Xbox before.

I've owned every Playstation console and handheld.

I bought the first xbox exclusively for halo. Realized I liked the controller way more than PS and I wasn't that concerned about most PS exclusives so I've only bought xbox since then.

I used to prefer Nintendo and Sony consoles because I heavily resented the fact that Microsoft even started making consoles to begin with, along with that fact that they stole Rare away from Nintendo.

Nowadays though, I don't give any shits about it. I still prefer Sony and Nintendo because they're what I've been accustomed to for decades, but I am looking into getting an original Xbox at some point.

Last Playstation I owned was 2, so i'm not a fair judge because of no experience with it. I bought an Xbox when it came out for Halo and stuck with it since.

Xbox these days has no exclusives. Everything also comes out on PC.

It is hard to imaging your taking a P5 from room to room but you can remote play.

The only console I play games on is Switch, most of the playstation games I want come out on PC eventually, all of the xbox games come out on PC via gamepass.
