because pokemon makes money no matter what. why should they go to the trouble? why put in that level of work when they clearly don't have to? don't like it? speak with your wallet. and then watch it not matter because everyone else will rush out to buy pokemon immediately no matter what. ... Visually? Yeah it looks better. Look into DokeV's development history though. It's guaranteed to be an absolute mess chock-full of microtransactions. The entire game has been redesigned from the ground up 3 or 4 times now and I'm fairly certain they still have no idea what they want it to be.
