Just left Menancia and got Kisara and Dohalim on my team. Grinding through some sidequests now.

The only other Tales games I've played all the way through are Berseria (which was great) and Zestiria (which was Zestiria). I was kinda hoping for this game to top Berseria for me, but it's not really doing it.

The gameplay is actually pretty fun since it's the first time in a Tales game were I feel like I know what I'm doing. But the story and cast is pretty weak compared to Berseria's. I guess I like Rinwell, since she feels like a real person with hobbies and such (also I love Hootle). And Dohalim has a really cool design. But I didn't really care about anything in the story until the Menancia stuff started, and even then, it's just kinda ehhh.

Also don't like how the skits aren't done anime cutout style anymore. The comicbook in-game graphics thing just isn't hitting.

Don't want it sound like I'm just hating on it lol Though I guess that does what this post comes off like. It's solid fun, though, and inventory management is much easier than it was in Berseria, from what I remember.
