Valorant also does this. Playing a lot, and practicing, will simultaneously make you BETTER and make your rating DROP. Playing a lot will make the computer "sure" that you are actually "low-ranked." ELO was designed only for high-stakes environments with time to rest in-between. It's not even a perfect system in Chess, but it's just bad for shooters. Some players, like myself, honestly don't take every match seriously. That's just not how I play 100% of the time.
