Like I think Paper Mario 64 has more going on its combat than this. I spam the same couple of special moves till things die. You could use some more options with your character.

The Fractured But Whole is Better, tho the games arent really intended to be played for its combat. Its the side missions and overall story essentially being a South Park movie thats the draw.

I really can't think of anything Fractured but Whole does better. Stick of Truth has better gameplay, story, and humor.

Status effects are completely broken, I don't think there's a single boss that can deal with bleed stacking

I also wish stats weren't tied to armor because the gear is fun to collect but most of it is useless

i appreciated it mostly for the humor. wasnt expecting any groundbreaking mechanics or anything...

It's not terrible, it just wasn't as good or memorable as SOT

The Fractured But Whole has better gameplay but is less funny IMO. Although ultimately, both are still hilarious, and neither is really something you play for the gameplay.

Stick of Truth still has one of the best scenes in a game. I laughed for a long time.

I think I suffered internal damage laughing so hard at that.

Stick of Truth was an awesome game.

I tried Fractured Butthole but I got stuck early on - you had to get like 30 instagram followers or something before you could proceed, but I literally couldn't find any additional map segments to get more NPCs and got frustrated.
