Magic wands are sorta lame as a vehicle for magic. I think that's kind of a leftover from an older era of fairy tales and "sources of power," whereas nowadays people prefer magical characters to have magic from within their bodies, or at least cast with their own hands. "Haha, I've taken your wand!" shouldn't be enough to depower or otherwise nerf a strong wizard, imo. That was honestly one of the things I really hated about Harry Potter. The wand aspect sucked. --- I write Naruto Fanfiction. But I am definitely not a furry. ... Copied to Clipboard!

Wands are cool, but I kinda prefer magic tomes. Makes the user seem erudite and learned. There's also staves, rods, rings, talismans etc etc --- This is my signature until I can think of a better one. ... Copied to Clipboard!
