Yeah because they lost. Nobody likes to lose. Its a human element to think someone had to be at fault for you losing. Look at literally any sports game if someone's team loses, its someone's fault, someone's gotta be the scapegoat.

I think people forgot what happened after Trump won 2016. It was the same shit, or close to it. "He cheated, the Russians did it" It doesn't matter who it was, it could have been literally any Republican who had lost last election that and the same result would have happened.

Old people are typically conservative, and covid mostly kills old people, so yeah, makes sense

The electoral math on this is gonna be a lot more muted than many people want it to be. You have to factor in the fact that covid hit deep blue cities (and in particular racial/ethnic minorities within those cities) hardest in its initial waves, pre-vaccine, the number of people who don't vote, etc.

Yes, it's rather unusual, but it seems him suggesting covid was a hoax and not to be taken seriously, as well as his anti-mask stance progressed into the GOP becoming anti-vax, and even Trump can't turn it around now that he wants credit for the vaccine.

Opening statement is very misleading.

I work in multiple EDs. In the rural setting there are unvaccinated. In the urban setting, there are unvaccinated. Inner city ghettos have the same education as the country, and neither believe in science.

I do think mortality skews towards the old but make no mistake that young dems are also dying, if you're just viewing people as votes.

No, there really isn't.

There is, on the count that I exist.

But on the topic...it's really their fault that they refuse to take the vaccine. If they'd rather die and spread the virus around so it mutates further...fuck 'em. I just have to do my part and hope for the best.
