I think the reason he's so mad is that he knows his viewership depends on the weird gradual introduction to the right-wing through the skeptic community. Like, he's one point along a spiral and if the points before him break he looses viewers, and therefore money.

H3H3 is weirdly on that spiral, too, and I think this is probably Ethan trying to cut part of that connection.

Before he became famous, he dreamed about buying a church and giving sermons every Sunday. He went with a different medium but he still has that need to be worshipped.

Nah, I got major doubts on that.

Peterson believes what hes saying, whether other people agree or not. Plus he used to do university lectures as a professor and work with clients as a clinical psychologist. In other words, hes accustomed to being in a position of scholarly authority, dispensing his advice, regardless of outside criticism. That dude is on his own crusade and I bet its why he used a word like repent. I think Petersons pissed off at that h3h3 Klein dude because they already sat down for a lengthy conversation about some social and political issues, as well as Kleins personal concerns and insecurities.

Let's also not forget that the dude believes that his wife has prophetic dreams and views himself as a sort of a mythic hero trope.

Why do right wingers get so obsessed and angry about Ethan Klein? He's really not an important person, but whenever he says anything mean about conservatives they freak out and make him trend. Is it because he used to be a big anti-SJW so it feels like a betrayal?

Ive seen other youtubers claim he doesn't have to follow the rules because he has a close relationship with youtube and they think he's become a mouthpiece for youtube.
