I think the first ever was in Westworld starring Yul Brenner? It's come such a long way and still falls into uncanny valley territory.

It's either that or the owl at the beginning of labyrinth.

Edit: labyrinth was the first CG animal in a movie. It looks like Westworld gets credit for the first CG in general in a movie for using 2D raster art.
