I get these a lot, theyre usually addressed to my dad (a Republican and the head of our family plan)

Been getting a lot of text about me visiting a site that had a virus then gives me link to get rid of it. So annoying. 3 different numbers

It threw me off because the link looked a lot more legitimate than the dozen or so phishing links I get sent to me every week (I swear they dont even try).

But after looking into it, the site certainly seems to have some suspicious flags.

Im going to send out a text to all my older family members with a friendly reminder not to click on links in texts. If it is a scam, this one is going to catch a lot of fish. If its not, well, less support for what theyre trying to do.
