Kind of haunting. At least, I thought so back in the day.

I played Majora's Mask for the first time a few months ago and god damn. The bells, the screen shrinking and that haunting music that plays at the end of the final day. It's all aged like wine.

It was extra weird playing during the pandemic with the villagers arguing about whether an impending disaster that was going to kill everyone was even a thing or not and the inept mayor just making things worse.

Whole game is one of the grimmest I've ever played. It still being a bright and colorful kids games makes the eerier parts hit much harder.
