I never did finish the Witcher 2 or 3.

Also Dragon Quest 11 probably counts since I finished the demo but never got around to playing the actual game.

Meh. I was having some fun with Vesperia, but also drifted away from it because it was pretty repetitive. I have a hard time finishing Tales games.

Im currently very slowly playing through DQ11 on Strong Monsters. I got like 30 hours on it and only just got the beat >_>. I doubt I finish it.

This. There is a period in time (I think around 2016) where I started playing multiple games at once and not finishing them. I've been getting better about it lately, but now I don't have as much time to play games as I used to. I'm probably 30 or 40 hours in Persona 5. I quit in that desert palace. I bought Royal years later but dropped it after the first dungeon because I decided I should knock out this quicker game first. And the cycle continued lmao.

Oh actually, I technically am in the middle of the Witcher 3 DLC.

Man, Xenoblade Chronicles 1 and 2 are both unfinished by me. Although I didn't make it THAT far in 2. And decided to beat 1 first once it came out. Several hours in 1 but stopped playing.

And then some non JRPG games like God of War (gonna start over when the Steam version comes out)
Horizon Zero Dawn (Restarting on the Steam version once I beat Like a Dragon I think)

Those are just off the top of my head. There are definitely more. Man, I got bad at finishing games.

I got Fallout NV, Divinity original sin 2, and Kotor, and im playing SMT V now. Damn.

i play way too many games to beat them all, so of course i have tons of unfinished RPGs

For me, I just got over feeling like I should restart. For XC2, I played the beginning then picked it up like 9 months later to finish it lol. For XC2 in particular, the beginning sucks hard compared to the rest of the game, so it would probably still be unfinished if I tried to start over.

Usually reading or watching part of a plot summary will do well enough. For that game I also had a thread on CE where I asked for early plot reminders.

Also Divinity 2, but I have a computer that can run it well now so I'll give that a shot when I'm done with Pathfinder.

Also no way I'm going to be able to go back to those games anytime soon since I'm currently replaying the Dragon Age series using every class, and I've only just recently completed 2 with 1 of them.

Inquisition with every class might just be added to the list if my old playtime is anything to go by (over 100 hours).

I'm about 15 hours into Tales of Vesperia. Just got the boat and did the ghost ship. Ive kind put it down in the meantime because it just hasn't gripped me so far

Sometimes I wonder if I should restart some games. I actually just picked Pokemon Moon back up. Not sure when I bought it. I think around release. But just picked it back up last month. I was halfway through it and didn't remember who any of the characters were. Decided to just keep on going and I beat it a week ago.

Funny. I just did. Zestiria. Im gonna get through it this time.

Actually, five minutes in and the damn thing charmed the shit out of me. Im recruiting earth (vague for spoilers) and she says, figures youd use guilt tripping on a girl (he actually didnt, shes just messing with him) and fire exclaims, Sorey! Maintain your purity! and that shit still has me cracking up. Its not so bad its good, its that they nailed it with perfect delivery.

I finished Berseria, went to Zestiria and was likeyuch. A bunch of time has passed now, so well see. That skit right off the bat helped.

Everytime I try to play Chrono Trigger this happens, and I forget what I'm doing and have to restart.

This reminded me that Vesperia was also a recent one I can add to my list. I just stopped playing because I had came off of Tales of Arise and had a hard time getting into Vesperia's combat system after playing Arise.

Yeah Arise's combat was so buttery smooth. With Vesperia I just get constantly gangbanged because the movement and combos are so clunky

I recall that being moderately difficult on PS2. I did it on Steam recently, and it was easier than I remembered. Like to the point I'm like how did I ever mess this up. I don't think I had an issue getting any of them on PS2 though. But that 200 lightning dodge, I just do not have the patience for anymore.

I don't even remember what I was doing in Abyss. I got pretty far in it then fell into the trap of trying to do all the mid-late game missable content.

I'm like 40-50 hours into Persona 5 and just stopped for whatever reason. Now I'd have to start over with Royal anyway. I figure I'll just wait for the PC release whenever that finally shows up.
