I caught another crossover. The old guy in Casino who blabs about business while the grocery store is bugged and then he later dies of a heart attack in his house. He's in the NY crew in some of the scenes at their social club.

Exactly. Why can't a show be a time capsule about how f***ing awful people were and are? Nearly everyone on the show is a piece of garbage.

And not only this, the show gave birth to this entire era of dramatic premium TV and still s***s over all over it.

Bobby is also in Casino. He's an extra you only see for a millisecond during the pen to the neck scene in the bar. Wonder if that's where Steve Schrippa's hatred for Robert DeNiro started.

Haha did he ever tell that story? I am listening to Talking Sopranos but I'm in the middle of the 3rd season episodes.

I don't think he ever gave an actual reason besides DeNiro just being a jerk in general. I don't recall any specific reason why he hates him so much.

I did a rewatch along with TS. People hate it, and while it's flawed, it's not that bad. Steve can be obnoxious sometimes, but I don't hate him like a lot of people do. It kinda shows that he's a pretty good actor in a way because he's pretty much the complete opposite of Bobby.

TS does show the dichotomy of Sopranos fans. You have the more surface level "hits and tits" types (Steve) and the ones who look deeper into it (Micheal).

Also, Tony Lip was in The Godfather, during the wedding scene, he's one of Barzini's henchmen, he's in the scene where they shake hands with Sonny or Tom I believe.
