EVE Online - I've always wanted to try it, but you pretty much have to give up your social, work, and leisure life to really be a threat it seems.

Supernatural - CW shows were always kinda 'ehhh' for me, but seeing this last as long as it did makes me curious in wanting to watch it.

Star Wars is the epitome of this. I feel like I needed to see it as a child in order to have those nostalgia goggles and truly get it.

Ive seen the movies as an adult, thought Well that was decent I guess and have no desire to re-watch them.

EDIT: Just saw it was limited to TV and not movies, oh well I already typed it.

One Piece
I know things about it, but the idea of watching/reading all of that shit is overwhelming

Do it! The first five seasons are incredible. Also, Supernatural predates The CW. It started on the WB (but WB had a similar type of show that you see on CW these days anyway)

Nah, it's cool.

Same, but as others have mentioned getting into One Piece at this point would feel like a chore even if I researched the cut where the fans removed the filler.

I feel the exact same way about EVE. That whole socioeconomic angle is fascinating, and I drool at the prospect of ending actual tens of thousands of dollars of someone's real actual cash assets just by being a sneaky shit with a basic space-dinghy. Too many irl and game investments in other things, though, and EVE is fucking huge and dense.

Another thing I missed out in is Go. Sure, I play online, but I live in Koreatown, and I had plenty opportunity to go see if the old men at the Go parlor weren't too racist and incapable of English to play against me. Now it's gone, probably permanently, because of covid.

You're right, it was on WB first. My mistake, guys.

And yeah, i heard that the earlier seasons were the bees knees, but had fans crying at the finale (can't remember if they were talking about a season finale or series. That's how out of the loop I am lol).

Same. I don't see why it's still so popular. I've watched tournies to see what the hype was and I was bored out of my mind.

Tales. Played Symphonia back then, loved it, but there's just too many. Or SMT/Persona. I got 40 hours into P5, but they are insanely long, and my interest for JRPGs drops considerably

A show would be GoT, I guess. Thought the first season was okay, but from the significant drop in quality (and fanbase) I've heard, I feel like there would be no point

Maybe The Expanse, or Game of Thrones, never got on board with either and heard too much about both to go back and watch them.

As a great user over at RI once (or twice) said. EVE isn't just a game, it's a way of life. Didn't realize you could lose thousands of dollars in that game. I just know that it's a massive game in space.

I lose that much money in a game, best believe that I'm gonna rock my black air forces energy on someone.

What I'm the roach FUCK is "Go"? Is that like Dance Dance Revolution or something?

Oohh.. That's a good one. Isn't it basically an R-rated Seinfeld with less subtlety?

Same for GoT. I'd rather read the books first before investing in watching the show.

Go is a Chinese-originating board game that has the highest complexity of all traditional board games, despite having very simple presentation and rules. Chess goes hard, Go goes harder.

Also, check out just how much EVE can cost. There are like, actual corporate entities in the game. Not NPCs, just people being insane.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_B-R5RB

Over 7,548 unique characters participated in the overall battle, of which 6,058 participated directly in the B-R5RB system with a maximum of 2,670 in system at the same time.[4][5] These numbers included 717 unique player corporations and involved 55 unique player alliances.[4] Joystiq called the battle potentially the largest recorded PvP battle in any game to date.[13] The 21-hour-long conflict resulted in the loss of 75 Titans, 13 supercarriers, 370 Dreadnoughts, and 123 Carriers, along with thousands of smaller ships and innumerable fighters and drones.[citation needed] N3 and Pandemic Legion lost 59 Titans, while the CFC and Russian coalition lost only 16.[4][14]
An estimated 11 trillion ISK in assets was lost during the battle, and media outlets reported the battle as the biggest and most expensive in EVE Online's history, estimating that the battle cost US$300,000330,000 in real-world money.
