Lady got mad because of a 2 hour wait time for delivery with not-hot(not cold either) food that she had no issue eating. Came in, expected a refund. Got rude.

Then she proceeded to tell me I'm a 'white SOB' as I told her to get out since it's private property and I have every right to refuse service.

I got told I was being racist towards a white guy once. I'm white as fuck.

Long story short wrote white dude up. He claimed and even pointed to a black guy saying he was guilty of the same thing and I'm just like bud I can write him up for it unless I see him do it and I didn't see it can't catch everything.

You know, I thought it was a delivery, but it wasn't. I figured it out at the end of the night. What happened was this:

She placed her order online, then picked up her order(as it was carryout, NOT delivery)which is inside a warmer which is set to 135-140 degrees at all times to keep food extremely hot the moment it is taken out.

She got home, decided it was 'cold' and 'disgusting'. She took bites out of everything(as in, ate entire slices down to the crust), multiple wings, etc. Then brought it back and went the racist route. So it wasn't even my fault if the food was cold, that was on her.

I got confused because around the same time we got another incredibly rude order that was delivery which complained about it being 'doughy'(not enough where she didn't eat a ton of slices and wings and breadsticks, tho!) and cold and also expected a full refund. I gave her some credit and she left after calling me a bad manager because I said the customer isn't always right in regards to the pizza being cold being her fault(if you order with a 2 hour delivery time, sorry, that isn't on us. That's on you.)

The former situation stuck more because that chick got thrown out the store after pulling the racist stuff lol.

Anyway, the wait times were absurd because we had 3 drivers(one is a senior who can't take specific orders if they have stairs, or anything at an incline), and over 20-25 orders at the time. Even if I had 3 extremely efficient drivers hitting every green light, we were looking at about 30-45 minutes per driver and 3 orders at a time.

Just the way it goes. Don't order at 5-7 if you want to get your order at a decent time. Sweet spot is 1-4 or 8-10.

Yeah, I don't do this shit lol.

Sorry, but I'm not gonna play games with customers like that. If we fuck up, and it's a genuine fuck up, I will do what I can to fix it. I own up to my mistakes, or my workers mistakes.

I'm not giving you a refund because you ate half your pizza and decided you want your money back. Nah, lol.

If another manager(who's been working above me) wasn't around, no credit would have been given out either lol.

I love working retail. But I'm the gal that drives the 3 ton forklift towards the customer's car to load their order into their car. So all of a sudden people are very friendly <3
