Mario 64, Spyro, multiple NES titles.... whst you been running? Currently trying to perfect my cannonless skip on Mario.

I need to improve my times. It's been a couple of years since I last uploaded anything.

I don't mean this in a mean way, but I enjoy watching speedruns of games I'll never play and I've noticed there's an unusually high amount of streamers who are exceptionally nerdy who do this

because you have to play games a lot which is more likely when you are having less social interaction, and also causes you to have less social interaction

I don't speed run anymore. I actually had one run submitted to speed demos archive way back in 2011. It was my one and only world record. But it was beaten a couple weeks after it was published.

I also used to have the world record in Batman return of the joker on nes. Yeah I know, not much of an accomplishment. I could have gotten that run accepted too, but I was lazy. Someone beat that run too.

I also tried a couple other games. I was one of the first people to start speed running Super Mario Bros 3 warpless, and to my knowledge I was the first person to actually have a time in that category. But the SDA community wanted me to get the time under an hour. Try it as hard as I could, but my record was 1:01:48.

Also tried Super Mario Bros 2, didn't have near as much luck with that one though

It's a good collaborative effort to give every game more innate replay value but it's not something I feel drawn to in most games.
I do enjoy some of the glitches and tricks one at a time though. I spice up some Dark Souls magic runs using the early Sen's Fortress skip to get Logan's spells early. I keep telling myself I'll try and do Kiln skip some time just to say I did but it hasn't happened yet.
