Core gameplay seems fun. Only have tried gunner, engineer and Scout so far. Scout seems well balanced but the grappling hook can be wonky sometimes.

Only thing is I get lost as fuck when trying to go back to the drop pod lol.

Also, any tips on what I should upgrade first?

It can be but you can also co-op by joining lobbies or hosting your own. Definitely funner to play with peeps but can get chaotic in all the darkness and traversing levels

Lmao I had a match where I just said fuck it and tried drilling through all the shit to shortcut to the drop pod. I died cuz shitload of bugs came into my hole but luckily I drilled enough to be close for a fellow driller to grab me. Shits tight.

Yeah I think I like the driller best so far. Drills make shortcuts dope and the flamethrower is so damn good

Alright so...I'm kinda getting discouraged. Idk why but I seem to die A LOT. I don't know what it is but I feel like such a burden to my team.

Also, I feel like ammo is so scarce with a team of 4. I know about resupply drops but even then depending on how long the mission is, I run out of ammo QUICK

If you are scout, you are not meant to shoot all the trash mobs. You can fight some but don't make it your job to kill them. Your priority is mining off the walls, grabs secondaries and light up the caves. You leave the trash mobs to the rest of the team. You focus on the specials like spit baller, acid spitters, Web spitters etc.
Just zip around and let the driller and engineer clean them up.

I've 100% played as gunner, simply because it speaks to me the most.

And yeah, once you get further into the game, it gets really hard.

i unironically think this is the best video game released since circa 2008. rock and stone, brother.

Real glad this absurd game has maintained a playerbase for so long I've yet to play, but I'll have the chance as long as it has people running it.

What difficulty are you playing on? I find the default difficulty in DRG to be pretty easy going, if you're having trouble that's probably where you want to start.

If you're already playing on that maybe try some single player to familiarize yourself with enemies and the gameplay loop a little better

Ita pretty fun

DRG is amazing. If you are new you should be on hazard 3. The game doesnt really start until you promote one character and start getting weapon cores.

Yeah you may want to turn difficulty down until your dwarf gets built up a bit.

Also, I never found ammo to be that hard to come by as long as you're mining nitra and not playing at a difficulty way above where your dwarf is at since you should be able to kill most enemies relatively quickly.
