Whether they just shove everything together or do some multi-verse thing to get the characters together, do you think this is Disneys endgame?

If DC hit some really hard times, I could see Disney buying it as another notch on their belt. But thatd take like a decade of decline.

Someone will certainly pitch the idea when and if the day comes that the MCU finally starts slowing down. Such a crossover would make mountains of money, but right now the MCU is still perfectly capable of raking in the cash on their own without the extra legal headaches that such a merger would entail (and they still have X-Men and the Fantastic 4 to debut).

I could see it happening. Honestly, probably within 30 years, if not sooner.

They did like 25 years ago. It was...ok, I guess. Marvel won it.

Maybe if Disney bought DC too.

I'm not sure if Disney would be able to purchase DC or not. Would that constitute some kind of comic book monopoly or is that something no one cares enough about to challenge?

But I could see them working out some kind of partnership, like Sony with the Spider-man movies and like Marvel and DC used to do semi-regularly back in the day with the comics, and do some big huge crossover comic/movie/game extravaganza. But again they would still be owned separately.
