I was stuck on the last ghost and I saw someone in school do it, so I was like "Oh, that's how!" and assumed that you put its soul to rest because it sees the doll and remembers compassion or love or whatever dumb bullshit reason that 8yo Neon thought of >_> I always assumed the Silph Scope was solely a bonus item to let you catch Gastly and Cubone and nothing else

Dai Grepher: I was wrong. My entire theory is incorrect. Zero Mission IS a remake of Metroid.

When I was a kid I never realized how horrible the AI in those games were

Most trainers just pick moves at random and bosses will just spam super effective moves, even if they don't do any damage

So if you send out a fighting type against Lance his Dragonite will just spam Barrier ad nauseam

If she says we partied, then I'm pretty sure we partied. I really don't remember. I remember we departed from our bodies.

When I was a kid, we went on a field trip on the Silverton train, which runs in Colorado from Durango to Silverton.

It's an absolutely beautiful ride.

Allegedly.

All I remember from it is having to get like 7 people through the Rock Cave because none of these little shits can figure out Flash.

It turned into challenge runs trying to use their shitass teams.

It took me a very long time to realise I was meant to put the Pokeflute radio channel on then talk to Snorlax to wake him up.
The previous game had a physical Pokeflute after you clear the Pokemon tower, now the radio tower. The radio tower had a guy saying there was more of the building but you aren't allowed up, fair to assume there's something you could do to get him to move out of the way and that someone at the top would give you an actual Pokeflute to play.
Did not help that a playground liar or two told me I had the right idea but they couldn't remember the details of how to get up.

I still want to know what's upstairs in the Lavender Town radio tower because of it.

I legitimately had to do that for a few of them because they never even found Flash and I didn't want to get it for them.

I'd basically memorized it by then, because I had been perfecting my Pokemon craft while those idiots were off making friends and creating the foundations of healthy social functioning.

Suckers.

It doesn't mean it was right for them to overcompensate and have the AI cheat in Pokemon Stadium 1&2 though.
