I think it goes a little extreme, maybe for comedic effect, but has a good message. In my own life, I used to be shallow, and when I got a hot girlfriend, I thought I had won at life. But she was an abuser. Later, I got a girlfriend who was a little heavier, but she was sweet, and kind, and fun. And she lost the weight. But you know what? She was still beautiful and wonderful back then. And I was too blind to see that she was always better than my abusive ex.

Its been years since I have seen it but I remember the overall message being pretty positive

Essentially its whats on the inside that counts.

Maybe have the final scene be them exercising. I'm not a fan of body shaming or tough love type treatments, but simply making the effort to go for a walk every day, eat more greens and whole grains, can go a long way

It's not called Deep Hal.

I wouldnt call it a deep movie but its got a positive message.

I love that flick. The scene where he puts Vaseline all over his eyes to fake an eye infection is great.

Loved Jason Alexander in that because he's essentially playing George Costanza again, but with a tail.

It is a great movie, but there is no way you are going to sell me on fucking fat chicks lol

It isn't always true, but very attractive girls who are part of nightlife to tend to be ugly on the inside.

It was mostly the same old fat slapstick jokes but portrayed with a skinny actress for added absurdity.

I too was about getting the hot girl everybody in the club or bar wanted.

I felt like that guy a girl couldnt get at one point in my life because i was chasing waterfalls. The good wholesome relationships i had throughout my life didnt need me to overextend and exaggerate myself to the point where even i didnt know who i am. Then that movie... sheesh. Way to knock me down and be humble to myself
