Because both times she was honest. Instead of making up an excuse or saying she's not looking for romance right now, she said

"I don't think I'll be up for it tomorrow."
And
"I really don't feel like it today."

Meaning it's still okay for me to ask again later.

This, in conjunction with the fact that she told me she's an introvert, means that if we're able to form a relationship, she won't be crawling up my ass all the time. This has always been something I've worried about when I think about getting a girlfriend. I figured she would demand a lot of my time, meaning I would have to sacrifice either one or more of my productive hobbies or video games.

So far though, I think the thing she likes about me is that she likes having space, and I give it to her. Unlike all these other dudes I see constantly crawling up her ass and trying to chat her up every chance they get.

You should totally ignore her for a while and see if she pursues you at all. Your posts read so hard like someone who is confident theyre close to getting into their first relationship, but I think for your own sake you should stop filling the cup so to speak, and give her an opportunity to demonstrate interest on her own terms.

I've spent the last years in near perfection because I have a girlfriend with exactly the same tastes as me, and we spend hours at a time playing games and watching movies and we just have the most fun I've ever had with a human being.

It's rare to find a perfect match and it took me a while, but I think I finally did.

What the fuck is everyone talking about with this time shit? If someone is asking for more time than you want to give you tell them no. Even if you concede to the demand with the intention of making them happy theyre gonna lose respect for you so quickly. Theyre gonna feel way more flattered by the time and attention you give them if it feels like your time is actually valuable.

This. I try be positive and supporting about these things. But usually if the issue was just that one day, she'd suggest a day that she will be available instead. She's not doing that though, so... Maybe don't put all your eggs in that one basket.
