All this stuff about notable people dying made me ponder if humans should live longer, especially if we have no concrete evidence of any sort of afterlife.

Too long.

We live far beyond any point of enjoyment, squander most of the time and hang on until our bodies are breaking down. Happy people live past their good years and become old and miserable. Obviously there are exceptions, but sometimes I feel like my best days are history.

At the same time, if I could undergo a procedure that would increase my life span, I probably would. Especially if I could prolong my body/joints not wearing down.

If a longer life expectancy scaled the breakdown process of your body, that would be awesome. 70 years old, but you look and feel like you're only in your 20s? Hell yeah.

"Do you think humans should die faster or slower" is a weird fucking question.

"Too long" life expectancy isn't the problem. "Too short" health and quality of life is the problem; they need to be extended.
