At the very least, your existence creates CO2 which is food for trees. Not a total waste.

Because there's nothing particularly positive about my supposed existence, whether that be in regards to myself on a personal level, to other people, or the world at large. My lifespan would be better served by transferring it to someone in need, like someone in danger of dying and actually has a desire to live.

Some opinions are inherently wrong and should be treated as such. Not having an incorrect opinion doesn't necessarily mean the opinion is more worthwhile, but more that it's less reprehensible. The weight of an opinion (correct or incorrect) depends on how important or notable a person is, though; someone such as myself can have opinions that are worthless even if they're correct because the person isn't worthy of note.

Have you considered that maybe you havent found your purpose in life yet? That's more common than you think. There is something that will give meaning to your life once you find it. It could be as simple as finding something that you like doing. Probable videogame related since you are here on GFAQS such as making guides or maybe looking to be a paid beta tester of games. Heck even as you mentioned it could be that you need to stay healthy so that in the future if there is someone in need that needs blood or an organ you could be the donor.

Alternatively, not everyone needs a purpose. Some people just enjoy the ride of life and chill along the way to see where it takes them.

I don't have a purpose... and there's not one for me to find, either. At most, the only purpose I have is to give an example for people to strive NOT to be.

I did want to be a game developer when I was younger, but after I took a programming class... that desire was crushed utterly and thoroughly. I lost all interest in it and haven't been interested in over a decade.

Anyway, find yourself a volunteer opportunity. I dont know if that will be any more fulfilling, but it certainly wont be less and at least youll have done some charity work, which is more good than youre doing now.
