I don't disagree with that but look at it from that dude's perspective. Angry, drunk racist couple are screaming at you while security does fuck all, the wife attacks you, you push her off, look up and see the husband getting closer.

Why are people fixated on him hitting the husband? Sounds like they were both causing issues for him, and the entire time his wife is trying to break free to attack him hes doing nothing. I know he doesnt control her but he is with her. He should have done more. He had no problem with his wife getting into an altercation. Didnt even flinch. He was part of it just as she was.

We all know if he hit her in retaliation there would have been increased police reports, she would play the victim, things would be much worse. He maintained his composure longer than he needed to. He hit someone who was part of the altercation after he got attacked. Who cares? If two men came up to you and started shit and then one hit you would you not assume both of them to now be threats?
