game like Mario Party utilizing Kinect. Or even launching it with another Dance Central instead they launched like a DLC only Dance Central a year later and some shitty Disney Land game.

Did they even launch a Kinect game with 2.0 other than some cursing features in sports game or waggle controls in Dead Rising 3?

Everyone turned on kinect when it was announced it was mandatory with xbone.

I mean when they dont give you a good game to go with it its understandable. That was also peak hysteria where people thought Microsoft was gonna track you masterbating despite using their Le Google phones eveywhere

Even though it wasnt very practical at the time, I liked the motion controls for going through menus and TV, it was pretty badass

You would think with technology today they could make something way better for the casual party game audience.

I loved the 360. I was an extremely early adopter of the Xbox One. I hated it. The Kinect barely worked and I paid like 150 extra for it with the edition I bought. The One's UI was built around the idea you would be using the hand gestures and was not fun to use with a controller.

the tech was cool. But I've never liked motion controls beyond something for novelty.
