What's with all the explosions

The city cleared the streets but didn't touch the sidewalks at all so there's just glass and shit all over for like four houses down and at the house across the street. Cool

The directly adjacent house looks bad, probably gonna be declared a loss. Their windows all blew in (the one injury was one of them getting cut by the glass) and that whole wall doesn't look good. Fortunately the explosion was centered on the opposite side of the house or things could have been much worse for them. In an interview one of them said they had called the gas company the day before because they could smell gas, but the person they sent out said they didn't smell anything and left.

Those are some damn good headphones you've got.

Funny thing is I wasn't even listening to loud music, it was a podcast.

Sounds like someone was lazy. I do hope their position has been eliminated, because their excuses could have cost people's lives.

My most recent close call was a construction worker who backed up right in front of me as I crossed an unusual intersection on foot. He couldn't see the lights and the look on his face when I gave him that glare was one of pure horror. He realized that he'd almost killed me. Glad I was keeping an eye on him. Two more feet and I wouldn't be here.
