There was a Lincoln Project commercial during the campaign about Trump winning a 3rd term and the kid asking his mom "But I thought a President could only be elected twice mommy?" and she says "Not anymore, son" and it was scare tactics that Trump would serve more than 2 terms.

So Democrats give misinformation too...you cannot win Presidency more than 2 times.

Trump on multiple occasions talked about deserving, wanting and negotiating for a 3rd term.

It wasnt likely but he made it into a legitimate fear.

Also the Lincoln project was a Republican thing.

The most interesting thing to me in this topic is that the "No true scotsman" fallacy was used almost exclusively by the (R) party from 2016-2020. If y'all recall, ANY Republican who talked shit about Trump was a Republican In Name Only (RINO) and not really a Republican.

But then with this topic - ANY Project Lincoln ad that is run for Joe Biden - is grifting by Republicans and not really a Democratic ad.

It's really surreal seeing these types of fascist argument tactics being used in full force by 4 or 5 posters in this topic. I usually had only seen it by Trumpers the past few years.
