It just... wouldn't make sense. You can't add the time to other days, because a day is based on Earth's rotation. Which means splitting a day up so it's part of two years, which is absurd.

I can guarantee you everything that should happen probably still would

Or accurate year.

Can't have both.

I prefer accurate days, as the night/light cycle is more crucial.

(let's not even get into the jokes that are months. Or weeks)

And also consider what happens 2 years in.
