Idk where you currently live, but its kind of a boring city. The suburbs right outside of Albany are nice (where I live) and have decent school systems etc., but the actual city of Albany is pretty meh to me.

How were the U.S. state capitals picked anyway? It's just weird that it's almost never the 'obvious' choice when you look at a map.

If I recall correctly, it's so that they can trick you during your 5th grade geography quiz, for poops and or giggles.
