Unless you're sweating heavily every day, or live in a place that's hot enough that you sweat regularly, it's healthier for your skin to not shower every day.

Your skin produces oil naturally, because it wants to be coated (to a certain degree) in oil, to protect it from drying out. Stripping it every day doesn't give it enough time to recover.

My cousin, kind of a clean freak, doesn't understand why he gets whole patches of his body peeling off, but the fucker takes 2-3 scalding showers a day. I'm shocked he's not balding yet.

Soap and water will hurt your skin. Its like if i eat too much i might starve. Its not like every modern day soap is hydrating. You want a nice layer of oil. Also you wouldnt want to wash your clean butt because you only poop every other day. Its like brushing your teeth: every other day.

I just dont get the need to take a shower in the morning. It should be at nighttime.

I usually shower every 2 days or so. Every other if I'm physically active. Dunno why people are paranoid and feel dirty enough to shower even the day after honestly.

Some people can shower every day and not have an issue, others need to use a moisturizing body wash and immediately put lotion on after their shower to avoid having their skin get fucked up and should avoid showering too often.

I don't have to defend anything, I just listen to dermatologists, who know more than you do.

Imagine smelling like shit after only a single day. I wash once a year and that's more than enough.

Im starting to get it: I have really good skin so i can wash as much as i want without anything bad happening but those with bad skin cant handle it.

Thats why they list might/could a million times.
Damn people with bad skin have to wash every other day and be less clean than those with better skin.

I generally shower every day when I have to work the next day and average about once every 2.5 days when I'm off work for an extended period and I'm not getting sweaty.
