hope she's ok. on the bright side feeling like crap hopefully means she's got a strong immune response and will fight it off like a bad flu. just tell her to look out for shortness of breath/faintness issues, that's when you need a hospital visit.

dis will just mean you have to be careful like da very first weeks of covid, wear a mask everywhere, stay away from people, and wash your fucking hands all da time.

My family's doing a big gathering on Christmas. I really want to go, but my parents, and my wife are content on not going. Better safe, than sorry they say. Can't disagree tbh.

About 30 people at work got it. I still haven't got it at all. Really hoping I can keep it like that.

Damn. Sorry to hear that. I feel like my dad has it too, because, he's been sick for weeks now. He just hasn't gone and gotten tested. Here's hoping everyone that gets it comes out okay.

Hopefully people take this seriously and take the necessary precautions. Get the vaccine/booster, mask up when going out, avoid large gatherings (but people are going to ignore that for Christmas), and wash/sanitize your hands often.

I havent been feeling great for a bit over a week now. Lost my voice and got a persistent cough first then got my booster. Have felt fatigued a bit ever since. Cough just wont go away.

I got an at home test before my booster and tested negative. Then saw my mom 2 days ago and she was feeling sick. Got worse yesterday eve thats when she tested positive.

I got my Pfizer booster a few weeks ago. Not that I dont care, but I kind of dont. At this point if you still dont have a vaccine I just dont care if you get really sick. Yes, I realize that vaxed people can get it. Yes, I realize hospitals being full impacts all of us. But, the numbers seems to show its mostly the unvaccinated that are going to die or have problems that they could easily avoid but for their stupid choice. Insurance companies should drop them all.

Im tired of putting my life on pause because someone thinks a vaccine is going turn them into an alligator because some idiot on YouTube said so.

It is literally impossible to avoid Covid.

there's not as many openings to get a booster. tried walgreens they had no open dates. until my uncle got lucky to get his booster at a walk in less than a week ago. if need to just tell work you need to get the shot (it only fatigues you for a day at best).

it may get to the scenario just like idaho they had to ration care ie pick who lives and dies because there wasn't enough beds.

Pretty much this. Got boosted two months ago. Tired of hearing about all the doom and gloom.

Planning on getting a job at Amazon at the start of the year. Put it off last year because of Covid. Im done hiding from it.
