I looked it up and this may be a little above TC and what he has to worry about but the Winter Seeds can give you:
Crocus - Base Price 60g
Crystal Fruit - Base Price 150 G (worth a good bit more if turned into wine, base price 450g)
Snow Yam - Base Price 100g
Winter Root - Base price 70g (put one in a seed maker for 1-3 winter seeds)

So actually they aren't horrible.

• Diamond from a random burrowing worm in the caves
• Gold bar from someone's trash can. Like someone had a literal fucking solid gold bar and was like "wow this is worthless" and threw it out
• Jagoite from a geode

So I found some stuff I'm not sure if it's rare or if it's safe to donate to the museum.

I'm as far as level 15 in the cave right now. I figure things like gold become more common later but don't know how much later

question, crops that can grow in multiple seasons do not die at the change of the season right?

They don't die until the end of the last month of their growing season.. One reason the greenhouse is kind of OP is that if you plant something that doesn't need replanted, it will just keep putting out harvests forever. Cranberries are a good choice for that. And fruit trees too, of course (which you can plant on the outer borders).

Made it to winter with 38k in the bank.

Going to spend this whole season getting my farm in order. Just bought a shed and make a legitimate furnace and crafting area inside.

Sweet, you're catching up to me. I've slowed down a little since it's the holidays. I have my shed and I just upgraded my coop to level 2. Oh and I finally upgraded my house. I've made it to level 25 in the skull cave, but I haven't found much iridium ore yet.

I'm almost done with Spring Year 2.

Idk where the skull cave is. I got to the bottom of the mines tho.

Anyone know how to grow the ancient seed? I found one but am scared I am going to ruin it because I bet you need to do something special

If you're talking about the artifact donate it and you'll get actual seeds. If you're talking about the seeds IIRC they take an entire season to grow so plant it spring or summer as it grows every season but winter

Save it after it grows though and put it into the machine that turns stuff into seeds to get more ancient seeds and repeat the process

Man I keep dying in the skull cavern. Occasionally those green dragon things just swarm me and I can't chug a potion/food fast enough. I wish there was more armor options.

I just rolled over to summer of year 2. Nothing crazy happening but I finally got that dinosaur egg in the incubator and I'm just building money and gifting the villagers like crazy using fruit from my trees and maybe wine/beer/coffee. I kind of want to check the wiki for the wizard's 2 heart event but I hope I just find it naturally. I currently have 3 hearts with him.

Oh, and I almost have enough resources to give to Willy to fix the boat. I only need maybe 20 hardwood. I've never been to that point in the game, so I'm not sure when I should go there.
