Chipotle apparently goes through door dash and I had a weird experience of seeing about 4 drivers sign up to take our order and then drop it before finally one called me and said something along the lines of "dude theres like 25 door dash drivers at this place waiting for orders from over an hour ago. I would just cancel the order and find some other food". So I put in a petition to cancel the order through the Chipotle app and ordered some food from somewhere else but I'm still getting texts from Chipotle saying "your order is on the way at almost 8 pm when I ordered at 4:50 with the link telling me "Ling Tong" is waiting at Chipotle for them to finish making my food.

I'm half expecting a Chinese dude to show up at my door at 9 saying "THIS WAS NOT WORTH A $5 TIP!"

Well Ling Tong made it at 8:35PM which was only almost 4 hours after I put in the order and 3 hours after I cancelled the order through the app and 2 hours after I finished eating dinner after giving up hope. Guess those delivered burritos will be a breakfast burritos.

you really couldn't just go drive to Chipotle and pick it up yourself?

Surprised that a driver actually called to let you know, but its nice that they did.

Honestly the reason I ordered it for delivery in the first place was that the Chipotle has been a shit show for the past week or two because the Qdoba just down the street is closed for renovations. I've had bad experiences with showing up even after ordering online and letting them know I'm there and sitting on my ass for half an hour waiting for my order to be finished.

I'm a software developer for a company that lets me work from home for a portion of my workday so I drove home popped open my laptop and finished up my hours from home figuring that I was making more cash that I would lose by hanging out waiting for an order to finish.
