I believe the idea is that there's no reason to actual gender someone's ethnicity like that and since no one could decide if latinos or latinas should be the word that sticks they went with the same approach used for things like mrs/miss/mr and went with X.

That X factor really gets people spicy though

Why not just say latin? Why does it need the x?

I'll very vocally protest the attempted normalization of the term "latinx" at every opportunity.

I can handle a world of mutants, monsters, robots, space aliens, devils, superheroes, witches, and wizards. But a world in which the Latino/a community actually embraces the term Latinx? That's just too farfetched for me, man.

And look at "no more raids" guy's left leg. Is it supposed to be hairy? Mutated?

I mean it is a Marvel comic book, they may very well be flying on purpose and a mutant. I'm not sure they are, as I don't recognise them, but maybe the full comic gives details on them.

Why certain people are so eternally booty tickled by diversity and something as simple as equality isbeyond me, honestly.
