It's literally a 50/50 match according to the only official source where they (don't) fight because both of them realize how risky it is.

I remember their Goku vs Superman analysis and it was horrible. They didn't factor in at all that Goku himself is a master martial artist and a master tactician while they tried to up-play Superman's martial arts capabilities by saying he knows some ancient Kryptonian fighting style LMAO.

The infinite page book isn't really relevant to the fight tbh. A better analysis is the rebuttal to the original where someone talks about how they lowballed many of superman's feats because it wasn't just whether or not he could do something but he needed to do it above a certain threshold.

For example when he used the infinite mass punch to destroy the moon he didn't just destroy the moon he completely stopped the moon's velocity which required much more force than is needed to just bust it open.

Let's all just agree that after Popeye beats Saitama, they need to match him up against Superman someday so Supes can be taken down a peg.

Exactly, popularity contest. They had Batman beating Captain America. They had Link beat Cloud with having Link have all of his OoT items and Cloud just having his buster Sword with his Limit Breaks. These people do it for the clicks, not for the facts.

That seems incredibly stupid because it'll just either just devolve into Popeye being wanked into some kind of multiversal terror due to breaking the fourth wall and cartoon antics, or it'll literally be just one punch. Saitama doesn't get any wacky gag powers aside from literally being the gag, so they can't even do gag vs gag logic.

Regardless of toon force, characters ultimately are chosen as a winner based on their calculable feats. If Saitama has mathematically stronger attacks than Popeye, they'll probably give it to him.

Also, I'm glad toon force is officially a thing in real canons now, as of Space Jam ANL.
