Im often an alpha in the room, meaning when I speak, most will listen. I have led and done well and also not so well. Im honestly at my best being the clutch player or primary/secondary support more than leader. Mostly because I struggle with anxiety so much. Not anxiety for leading as much as its participation anxiety. Just the fact Im obligated can tilt me sometimes anymore, so its best when someone else leads. Natural born leader sounds dumb. Most of the traits that make a good leader come from experience not traits that you are born with. Composure under pressure, seeing the bigger picture, being able to walk the fine line between being pushing for performance and catering to the needs of the people you're leading. ...
