Lol, "total compensation" of $330,760 but half of it is in stock/bonuses and the actual money part is only $161,940. Google, Facebook, etc. are much better.

and they're mkaing you apply directly with them for IT jobs but you get contected by a third party contractor for the job so technically you're not even working for Amazon. They still offer day 1 benefits so not sure why they do it this way but it's suspect.

Bezos only pays his employees $161,940? He could afford to pay 100x that and still be a billionaire.

No, he doesn't even do that. Ignoring the obvious issue that that pay is far above what most Amazon employees (warehouse workers) get, the first post blatantly states you're working for a third party contractor.

Amazon is weird because "employees are given stake in the company" is exactly what people always say they want and then when they get it they complain that they'd rather have a higher base pay.

every big name tech company and every startup offers stock along with slaary these days. to say you pay 300K and only 160k is actual money, lol. The other known mega corps all do better.

This topic highlights the privilege that CEmen has. WTF about complaining on a 300k+ salary. That is stupidly high salary for most people.

Also, even if you get this on stocks, you realize you can just sell them as soon as you get them for money right?

It's a lowbal offer for me. I saved up for my own college tution to study CS, came from a poor family and started off working at Best Buy. My skills are worth more money than this and I just accepted an offer for $295K in actual dollars with $90K in stocks of that.

Thanks for your little rant though.
