Son Of Spam 12/13/21 12:20:27 PM #10:	The load times aren't really the big selling point. The big deal is that developers can design their games without being bottlenecked by a 5400RPM hard drive. They don't need to put in things like corridors purely to hide load times and things like that. The problem now is most games are still cross-gen, and the silicon shortage has only extended that. So technically Sony didn't drop the ball. No idea what TC's experience is. I get into GoT in like 10 seconds from starting up the disc. Then never have to load again. And that's one the best looking games so far. Borderlands 3 still has to load a lot because they themselves fucked that up. I tried it on ps4 first and it was literally 5 minutes to get to the main menu and 2 minutes to load a map.
