Trail in the Sky series These look interesting. Kind of remind me of PS1 era RPGs. Flauros posted... If you like games in that style try Heartbeat. Its got that retro artstyle that so many games these days go for, but it really works. NoxObscuras 12/12/21 10:43:15 PM #25:	Tales of Arise was great. Best combat in the series for me. Final part of the game gets kind of weird, but that's pretty much every Tales game, so no big deal. I also enjoyed the Trials of Mana Remake from 2020. And it's not exactly recent (2017), but I highly, highly recommend playing Ys 8, if you haven't already. Like 5 minutes into the story, your ship crashes on an abandoned island and that is the focus of the story. Exploring the island, while finding other survivors, which in turn help you explore more of the island. It's a fun loop that really keeps you pushing through the game.
