Hes not wrong. The country and California in particular is having a serious problem with retail theft. But rather them condemn those committing the crimes, many would rather sympathize with them as if its poor suffering people and not organized groups.

Who cares? Fuck the retailers. There's not a major company out there that doesn't commit wage theft, but heaven forbid anyone steal from them too.

See, there it is. Fuck the retailers. Its not the retailers that get fucked. Its the neighborhoods that the stores leave. Its the general consumers who then pay higher prices. But sure, fight the man!

Lol no they don't. I worked for major retailers and the amount of theft that already occurs is staggering. Every retailer has a shrink budget which is theft they account for each year. If it is under that means it's pure profit for them. If it's over they just raise it next year

People still don't understand that most retail is franchised by small business.

Walmart and Target don't give a shit and will just leave if anything even though they can afford it and have accounted for it. The rest usually have to close up.

Those costs absolutely get passed onto the consumer. Margins are thin enough in retail that if one retailer was able to actual stop theft, their prices would go down long term. Short term windfalls are profit, once it is regular course of business it becomes and expectation.

Lol how naive are you. The only thing that would happen if a retailer actually stopped theft is they would make more profit. Prices wouldn't go down and they aren't going up
