Two games that would have been significantly better if they weren't bogged down by Games as a Service crap.

Seriously the amount of currencies, resources and uninteresting content used to desperately maintain an active playerbase in both of these games is so sad.

It's a shame because the core gameplay for both are pretty fun but everything outside of it drags the game down.

Nothing about Anthem is good. The game is built around the games as a service concept. You can't say it would be good without it. It literally wouldn't exist without it.

I thought the flying around and the combat itself is fun. If that was in a traditional Bioware game like Mass Effect it would have ended up pretty good.

But yeah the entire structure of the game is garbage because of the GAAS. I had to stop playing when I had to do a resource and challenge checklist to continue the main story. Jesus Christ.
