Ukraines Air Force is super weak with just 144 aircraft and those being leftover from the Soviet Union. The odds are not good in Ukraines favor at all. They have no ability whatsoever to go on the offensive and retake Crimea or elsewhere. Russia could easily put in place what it needs to quickly overrun Ukraine and push refugees out through Europe to further restrain NATO allies.
