Is it fair to post a picture from 5 years ago? How about 2? Only recent shots?

It isnt so much about the pic being too old as its a matter of if the pic still resembles you.

Honestly, it's about weight more than anything. If it's within 10 pounds either way of your current weight, you're good.

Any picture is fair game as long as it's you, that's what everyone else is doing anyways.

If you still pretty much look the same its not that big of an issue.

Just look at it objectively and think if someone saw your picture and then saw you immediately after would they notice a difference?

Me in the last 5 years? No big difference. Me 5+ years ago in my early 20s? I looked way younger then so I would never use any of those pics. 5 years is definitely pushing it tho.Id say stick to under 3 and youll likely never have to worry.

Also if you routinely give out your social media on dating sites I wouldnt use any time stamped photos from them as profile pics as if someone did happen to care it might look weird.

Personally I think 5 years is pushing it, but if you look really close to it, it's probably ok. Definitely don't take pics from your younger 20s from 5 years ago.

Like Gamer167 said, 0-3 years is good.

i agree on if it still looks like you than sure but otherwise no and you should also have some recent pics and shouldn't be all pics from 5 years ago. think of it this way. if a girl did it how would you feel? you meet and she's like oh that's just a pic from 5 years ago. in that 5 years she put on a good 50 pounds and looks quite a bit older. would you be made/upset/annoyed/etc?
