Smacks, or Yugi or anyone who has seen it. Cowboy Bebop live action show worth watching? I'd be going into it knowing nothing at all about the anime, but the show looks okay.

Damn never watched the anime? From what I hear, the live action is OK for what it's trying to be and that's about it. It's already been cancelled.

I don't watch much anime at all. I'm more Star Wars Rebels kind of thing if I do animated, I liked Akira when I was a teenager. It's not something I ever tried getting into, wife wants to watch Avatar the Last Airbender animated series but i've been procrastinating on it.

Weather is getting bad, temperature raised 15 degrees in the last 4 hours, tornado warnings coming across my phone. If this is the big one, love you guys. Johnny can have my Xbox with all my games, Canuck gets my cats, a-c-a-b gets my signed Greg Graffin book. Smackems can have what's left of my vape.

Yeah I remember you mentioning it but still seems weird to watch the live action before the original. The original is a fun stylish day in the life of a bounty hunter kinda thing. Most of the show is episodic.

Avatar is surprisingly great. Wife convinced me to watch it a few years back. It isn't anime, just a kids cartoon. Difference is, it's a really well done kids cartoon with a solid storyline and character development. Worth giving a watch.

i literally almost died tonite

was crossing the road, with grocery bags in each arm, at a marked, and flashing, crosswalk. All cars were stopped waiting for me

then when im in the middle of the 4-lane road this truck guns the gas and literally tries to run me down. i hop back, but she veers out of her lane to try to hit me, so i double-step back again.

If i had've stuck my gut out, it would have grazed her side mirror. That's how close it was.

For some fucking reason this chick saw me crossing and made it her personal agenda to literally run me over with her truck

the beauty is i was on the phone with my buddy so he heard it live. But he didn't quite understand the gravity of the situation. Like....if i slip on ice while trying to dodge, I'm not here writing this post right now. I'm in the hospital, if I'm lucky.

and yes there is a shitload of drivers in Calgary who are high on meth. Many make the news actually.

Not sure still where i'm at with this chick. The other night she started crying about shit and said she didn't deserve me and I said yadda yadda that's not true. She told me to think about it and we left it there. Ever since then she acts like we're just friends tells me "you're the best, i'm glad I met you, I'm comfortable with you, and makes comments about how our cell phones need to work together because its for life. There's context to that I promise.

She'll text me morning until the next day until were together. It's just different that she acts like we're together but doesn't come out and say it. I guess i'm not really leading anything towards it either. Not that I don't want to be with her but it's like ....shit once it's out there then we're together.

Never been in a situation like this I must say.

Not yet. Phone was blowing up around 7am saying seek shelter immediately and I went back to bed and didnt die.

Heard there was a pretty rough one in the Midwest. Heard it was cat 5 and killed 60. Dunno how true that is tho

I had like 25-30mph winds last night. I thought end times were coming so I gave all my stuff to a local church. Now I have NOTHING.

One year a massive one fucked up a small town here.

We get some huge winds in the valley but a tornado is basically impossible given the geography.

My town us unincorporated and technically a village so the burning laws are really lax and holy fuck some dicks a few blocks away are just smoking out the whole neighborhood

They must be having a bonfire with just green green wood with the needles still on cause the smoke is ridiculous.

Thanks man, seems like we get these tornado warnings a lot but don't touch down most of the time. Couple areas near here got hit.
