I hope I don't wake up tomorrow to receive a phone call on this subject. My aunt is in the hospital due to COVID. Her blood oxygen level dropped to 70.

If she passes, my last memory of her will be of her wearing a Q-Anon shirt to a family lunch out of spite for my mother. She's isolated herself from her sister, her mother, and her children. (And not just because of the conspiracy crap.) I think I mostly hope that she pulls through for the sake of my conscience.

I don't want to be apathetic or, worse yet, relieved about her passing. Ideally, I'd like for her to make a full recovery, realize she's wasting her life in the Midwest, and move to North Carolina where she can live happily and I never have to see her again.

I'm sorry. I tried really hard not to go BlogFAQs on this subject matter.
