Sadly, yes. Quite a few, including two people who are otherwise great, one of whom I love dearly. A grocery store is a really bad place to be unvaccinated in, even in Connecticut.

A few, and they happen to be very intelligent otherwise so I find it more strange than anything else. I don't necessarily care, though they're sometimes very vocal about their stance on it. It makes me somewhat uncomfortable to listen to their nonsense, but I just laugh and shake my head.

Their lucky asses got 6 weeks off because of that. Staff shortages had been so bad (its still bad but it's gotten better) that people where told they had to come into work unless they had papers from a doctor saying they had covid. Had a guy come to work with covid because of that. And he knew he had it cause he had it before. The guy I mentioned had it twice. Hmm probably why they keep sticking my ass with covid positives. Yeah majority of them. I work in a nursing home/rehab facility too. My HR is actively handing out and approving religious mandates for everyone who wants it.

I'm a UK civil servant and there are none in my office who have said it out loud but then it doesn't usually get discussed. We have monthly all-staff calls with our director that you can submit questions to though and a fair few of them were things like "will I be forced to get the jab or lose my job", "I'm worried about being bullied/segregated in the office because I'm not getting vaccinated", etc.
