There is an obvious plot reason why the show is cancelling where they are leaving off in the overall book's story, of which the showwriters have mentioned they aren't excluding coming back to the expanse universe to finish it off or work on spin offs. Something tells me I'm not gonna make it by tomorrow when my copy arrives. Or finish the series by the time the new season starts.
